Little Red Riding Hood has become a spoiled queen, Cinderella is about to become a mother and Goldilocks is on the run from the police. Chris Colfer, who you might know as Kurt Hummel on Glee, went nuts on well-known fairy tales. The wishing spell is the first part of his fantasy series Magic Land. It came straight at number one on an important book list in America. That probably has more to do with Colfers reputation than with his writing skills, though we must admit that the wishing spell is written with enthusiasm.
